Material deadline is Monday the week prior to the week of insertion.

Media Guidlines

• 300 resolution, 85 line screen
• Illustrator 9 EPS, please convert all type to outlines prior to sending.
• Adobe Acrobat 4 PDF, please ensure that it is press optimized, all fonts and images have been embedded, and that jpeg compression is turned off.
• Quark XPress 4.04 and Indesign 1.0 files are accepted, all supporting files and fonts (both screen and printer for MAC postscript fonts) must also be sent.
• Photoshop 5.5 TIFF files can also be accepted.
• Black and White proofs can be sent by fax to 416-966-3699.

Black Plus Spot Colour Ads

• Quark XPress 4.04, Illustrator 9 EPS files only.
• Provide pantone number and a colour printout proof for each publication.
• Please use Pantone colours only.

Four Colour Ads

Most of our newspapers can accept four colour ads digitally, however, some newspapers require film. Your account representative will let you know which newspapers in your campaign require film.

• Please use only CMYK colours, inclusive of all supporting files.
• A colour printout proof for each publication is required.

Film Specs

One set of negative, right-reading colour separated film, emulsion side down, 85 line screen. Separations must be accompanied by a colour printout proof for each paper.
